School of Health Sciences OverviewThe School of Health Sciences offers a number of hands-on undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. We have invested £8.5 million in the Health Science Building, which features specialist laboratory spaces dedicated to nutrition, genomics, cell biology and psychology, along with laboratories and space for sport and exercise science. We also have strong links with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the World Museum in Liverpool and Chester Zoo. Within the school, we have five medical doctors and a team of research-active academics, all of whom are publishing in research journals and books. Our programmes are extremely practical, which allows you to become familiar with a range of contemporary techniques and analysis, honing your skills in research through your dissertation and other research projects.
