Global Hope Fundraising PaymentsGlobal Hope As part of the Service and Leadership Award, you have the opportunity to volunteer in developing countries around the world through Global Hope. Liverpool Hope University’s award winning overseas volunteer programme supports a range of educational communities in locations as diverse as India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Brazil, Peru, Southern India and Uganda. Teams of students and staff travel overseas to work on specific projects which could see you for example working in a school or orphanage. You are provided with training on cultural issues, health and safety abroad, dimensions of poverty and planning for overseas projects. Global Hope is spreading good and relevant educational practise through the involvement of a range of innovative and motivated staff with estimable scholarly expertise and achievements. On a day to day basis, the Global Hope team work to secure projects, to raise funds, to organize travel, to train the students, to induct staff, to ensure health and safety standards have been met and finally to send off (and importantly, receive home) happy and health teams. Global Hope is looking forward to continually supporting current partnerships and to expand to meet new challenges with new partners in many new locations. |
