Distribution of Car Parking Permits

Please apply for your parking permit by selecting one of the options below.   All Staff requiring a car park permit must complete this process.

*A parking permit is not required if you display a blue badge

Parking Enforcement

An external parking enforcement company will be policing the use of valid permits and pay and display tickets 24 hours a day. Please refer to the Parking Enforcement information page for further details.

FAILURE TO DISPLAY A VALID PERMIT OR PAY AND DISPLAY TICKET WILL RESULT IN THE ISSUING OF A PENALTY CHARGE NOTICE (PCN). ADDITIONALLY, FAILURE TO PARK CONSIDERATELY IN A DESIGNATED PARKING BAY WILL ALSO RESULT IN A PCN BEING ISSUED. DISABLED BAY PARKING IS STRICTLY FOR THE USE OF PERSONS DISPLAYING A VALID BLUE BADGE. 

Liverpool Hope University cannot cancel parking charge notices (PCN's) issued. If you receive a penalty charge notice it is your responsibility to communicate with the enforcement company. DO NOT IGNORE ANY PCN ISSUED.

THE MISUSE OF PARKING PERMITS IS FRAUDULENT AND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. THE UNIVERSITY WILL INVOKE DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES AGAINST ANY PERSON MISUSING PARKING PERMITS.

Grade 6 & Below

Description

This section is for Staff who are Grade 6 and below who wish to purchase a parking permit.

Once you have completed the Online Store process you will receive an email 'Click on Car Registration Details' which will link you back to the Online Store, add the new product to your basket and you will be asked to enter your Car Registration Number.

Once you have completed the process you will receive a final email 'Print@Home - E-Ticket Permit confirmation' containing your Car Park Permit.

Printing the permit is now your responsibility and it must be clearly displayed in the front windscreen of your vehicle.

Monthly - If you select this option then continuous monthly payments of £5.75 will be deducted from your salary until cancelled. This item will show as 'free of charge' due to the payment being deducted from your salary. Every September you will receive a renewal email asking for your car registration details and once completed, a new car parking permit will be emailed back to you.  If you do not want your permit to be renewed you will need to complete the Cancellation Form which is available to download on the Car Park website.

Please note that it is not possible to surrender your parking permit for a short period and then apply for a new one, for example over the summer when you may be off campus. 

In full - If you select this option you will need to make a payment in full of £70.00 which will entitle you to an annual parking permit, valid for the academic year (October 2024 to September 2025). You are required to re-apply annually.

Note-

In the event of a permit being Lost, Stolen or no longer fit for purpose you should refer back to your original email and reprint your permit or contact the Online Store Team at [email protected].

Description

This section is for Staff who are Grade 7 and above who wish to purchase a parking permit.

Monthly - If you select this option then continuous monthly payments of £11.50 will be deducted from your salary until you cancel. This item will show as 'free of charge' due to the payment being deducted from your salary. Every August you will receive a renewal email asking for your car registration details and once completed, a new car parking permit will be emailed back to you.  If you do not want your permit to be renewed you will need to complete the Cancellation Form which is available to download on the Car Park website.
