Detailed Description

You can only purchase a replacement certificate if your original has been lost or destroyed.

The applicant must provide either (a) the damaged or defaced parchment or (b) a completed declaration setting out fully the circumstances in which the parchment was lost or destroyed, including an undertaking that, should a replacement be issued, it will be returned if the original is subsequently found.

Certificates conferred before 1995 were produced by the University of Liverpool. You will need to apply to their Student Administration Centre to get a replacement certificate.  Please contact them via e-mail at [email protected] or telephone 0151-794-6758/6759 or visit their website at www.liv.ac.uk/graduation/certificates for further information.

Refunds will only be given if the order is cancelled before the certificate is produced.  

As a requirement of the University is to comply with Data Protection Legislation, your order for a replacement certificate must be accompanied by a valid form of identity (e.g. a copy of your passport, driving licence, birth certificate). If your name has changed since the time of your study, we will also require proof of your original name (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate or deed poll).

Please Note: If you have an outstanding debt to Liverpool Hope University then you may not be eligible to receive an official certificate.  You should expect to receive a replacement certificate within 2-4 weeks (please allow extra time for addresses outside the UK and during our busiest periods of June, July, December and January).
