This session is part of the Hope Well-being Festival.

 

Detailed Description

Counsellor and Mindfulness Practitioner Fidelma will be running two Mindfulness taster sessions for staff and students. Please state in comments whether you would like to book on to the 12pm or the 12:30pm session.

Mindfulness can help you to:

  • Increase your awareness of your thoughts and feelings
  • Manage unhelpful thoughts
  • Develop more helpful responses to difficult feelings and events
  • Be kinder towards yourself
  • Feel calmer and able to manage stress better
  • Manage some physical health problem, like chronic pain
