Order a replacement certificate here if the original has been lost or stolen

This is for Graduates of Liverpool Hope University only, who completed their award in 1995 or thereafter.  

You can only purchase a replacement certificate if your original has been lost or destroyed.

The certificate which the University issues as proof of the conferment of an award is a unique and valuable document which should be carefully preserved by its recipient.  Under no circumstances will the University issue additional copies or replacement to any applicant holding an original certificate.  Replacements while having precisely the same standing as the originals which they replace are produced in the format currently in use and may not be a facsimile copy of the original.

The loss or destruction of a certificate is a serious matter and a replacement will only be issued at the discretion of the University.  The University reserves the right to not issue a replacement, but would specify reasons for any such decision in writing.

The applicant must provide either (a) the damaged or defaced parchment or (b) a completed declaration setting out fully the circumstances in which the parchment was lost or destroyed, including an undertaking that, should a replacement be issued, it will be returned if the original is subsequently found.

Certificates conferred before 1995 were produced by the University of Liverpool. You will need to apply to their Student Administration Centre to get a replacement certificate.  Please contact them via e-mail at [email protected] or telephone 0151-794-6758/6759 or visit their website at www.liv.ac.uk/graduation/certificates for further information.

Refunds will only be given if the order is cancelled before the certificate is produced.  

As a requirement of the University to comply with Data Protection Legislation, your order for a replacement certificate must be accompanied by a valid form of identity (e.g. a copy of your passport, driving licence, birth certificate). If your name has changed since the time of your study, we will also require proof of your original name (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate or deed poll).

Please Note: If you have an outstanding debt to Liverpool Hope University then you may not be eligible to receive an official certificate.  You should expect to receive a replacement certificate within 2-4 weeks (please allow extra time to an address outside the UK, or during our busiest periods of June, July Nov & Dec).
