Distribution of Car Parking Permits

Please apply for your parking permit by selecting one of the options below.   All Staff requiring a car park permit must complete this process, including Blue Badge holders.  

Parking Enforcement

University Car Parks will be regularly monitored to ensure an orderly scheme of parking is enforced.  Failure to abide by the University's Car Parking Policy may result in the issuing of a legally enforceable Parking Charge Notice (PCN) and/or the irrevocable withdrawal of a car parking permit. 

Verbal or physical abuse towards any University staff enforcing this policy will not be tolerated and may lead to disciplinary action and the withdrawal of Parking Permit 

The misuse and/or copying of the “self-print” or the annual parking permit is seen as fraud and strictly forbidden.  The University will invoke Disciplinary Procedures against any member of staff who misuses the Parking Permit. 

Please note: Purchasing a permit does not guarantee a parking space.

Grade 6 and Below

Description

This section is for Staff who are Grade 6 and below who wish to purchase a parking permit.

Once you have completed the Online Store process you will receive an email titled 'Click on Car Registration Details' which will link you back to the Online Store, add the new product to your basket and you will be asked to enter your Car Registration Number.

Once you have completed the process you will receive a final email 'Print@Home - E-Ticket Permit confirmation' containing your Car Park Permit.

Printing the permit is now your responsibility and it must be clearly displayed in the front windscreen of your vehicle.

Monthly - If you select this option then continuous monthly payments of £5.75 will be deducted from your salary until you cancel. This item will show as 'free of charge' due to the payment being deducted from your salary. Every August you will receive a renewal email asking for your car registration details and once completed, a new car parking permit will be emailed back to you.  If you do not want your permit to be renewed you will need to complete the Cancellation Form which is available to download on the Car Park website.

Please note that it is not possible to surrender your parking permit for a short period and then apply for a new one, for example over the summer when you may be off campus. 

In full - If you select this option you will need to make a payment in full of £70.00 which will entitle you to an annual parking permit, valid for the academic year (October 2023 to September 2024). You are required to re-apply annually.

In the event of a permit being Lost, Stolen or no longer fit for purpose you should refer back to your original email and reprint your permit or contact the Online Store Team at [email protected].

Description

Staff - Blue Badge Holder

FREE OF CHARGE

Description

If you are already in receipt of a registered blue badge and need to access a University disabled parking bay, you will need to apply for a Hope University Blue Badge parking permit.

To register for the Hope University Blue Badge permit click 'add to basket' followed by 'proceed to basket' and in turn proceed to checkout. Once you have logged in to the Online Store you are then required to complete a short questionnaire, once complete click 'confirm your order' to complete the application.

Please be aware you will need to provide photographic evidence of your registered blue badge by email to [email protected].

Once we are in receipt of the photographic evidence of your registered Blue Badge your Liverpool Hope University blue badge permit will be created and emailed to you.
