Arts and Humanities

The Faculty has a strong research focus with nationally and internationally excellent research, with a large percentage of our academic staff being entered into the UK’s Research Exercise Framework (REF) in 2014. The Faculty was delighted with the REF outcome and the results are recorded on the Faculty REF Success page. 
As a Faculty we have strong links with cultural bodies such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Tate Liverpool, Bluecoat, National Museums Liverpool, Film and Creative Technology (FACT), the Beatles Story, as well as with the Anglican and Metropolitan Cathedrals. The Faculty also has strong links with the Liverpool business community, professional bodies and associations, PSI and other public sector organisations.
